SB 258 Update
SB 258 has been amended, but only to remove the "good moral character" clause. Otherwise, HSUS is getting virtually everything it wanted. Last weekend, the TN Fed of Dog Clubs met, and along with the AKC, signed off on the bill. My personal opinion is that it should be scrapped entirely. There has been much discussion of this on the TN Pet Law group, and the general feeling is that we should continue to oppose this law. Donna Malone, of Responsible Animal Owners of TN is putting together a mailing list for purposes of contacting legislators.
